Phoenix came to stay at Grandma's House today. Her birthday is tomorrow and we wanted to go shopping and pick out some things for her birthday. She came over at 7:15 and by 8:00 we were out the door. Phoenix LOVES to clothes shop. Everything I picked up, she said, "Oh, That's SOOOO Cute". It was very hard making decisions, because she not only loved everything, she wanted everything.....sounds just like me. We bought a couple of books, came home and she was already to eat the spaghettios she wanted instead of McDonalds....OK. Well, then she played with play dough something even Papa likes to do along with us; then, since Grandma was one track minded while at the store, Papa asked Grandma if she remembered milk.........OH MY HEAVENS! Now we'll have to go shopping again! Phoenix even had some money in her Superman wallet to spend, so she picked out something (a toy), against the better advice of Grandpa, who said "Save the money"! We left her money in her wallet anyway.....Now, we're at home and she wanted Yogurt, Orange Creamsicle, and whatever else she may want. Now she is watching Dora, one of her favorite programs. We will read, do flash cards, and maybe go out one more time on a jaunt, if I dare in this snow, or easier, make cookies together.......What fun days we always have together.

Oh I love these kinds of days. The other day Makinley asked me when I can come pick her up from pre-school again and go to lunch so I know it must mean something to her. We were reading a book last night and when I answered a question in the book she said "you rock on Grandma". I laughed so hard. Then later she called me a "nerd". Oh heavens!!! hahahah
