A "Sister Trip"

Geri and I will be leaving on the 28th of May to go out to Chicago to visit my kids. We'll be staying at Chris' and Lesli's and some fun times are planned. On the 29th, my oldest Grandson, Jakob will be graduating from "Pre-school" and we will be attending the graduation services, then on to Adam and Joanne's house for a family barbecue. Chris, Jurgita, Gabrielle, and Lesli will be over for that. I'm sure Adam will take charge of the cooking, as he is the "master barbecuer" of the family.
On Friday, Chris has a show and we'll go and Geri will get to see how his entertainment company works. On Saturday, we've planned a trip into the windy city. Geri has been told to be sure to eat Gino's Pizza and also a "Chicago dog" while she's there. We'll go to Navy Pier and hopefully get a glimpse of Oprah's home in downtown Chicago on Michigan Avenue. If time permits, we will run over to Arlington Park, where they race horses and put a few bets down there. I'm very excited to show Geri around, even though I don't live there anymore, it's always fun to show someone where you lived for almost 15 years, and why you love it so much. We'll return on June 2nd, which is the same day Adam and Joanne and the kids will be leaving for Hawaii for Joanne's family reunion. We're happy we'll at least get to see them on Thursday.
