We had our annual Summer family reunion yesterday. It was a lot of fun seeing family members I haven't seen since the Christmas Party. At the summer reunion, all the children come with their children. At the Christmas Party only the older adults come. LaRae's daughter Melanie, has a husband who is in need of heart replacement, so at this reunion, we all brought handmade gifts or even store bought items and we auctioned them off to help them out monitarily. All the money went to his healthcare. We ended up with $1,205....which was quite surprising. Uncle Milt is the oldest member at the reunion. He's getting along ok, but has trouble seeing. He is still feisty and always asks me when I'm going to cook liver for him again. He loves my liver and nobody in his family will eat it, so I invite him over for Liver Dinner, every so often. He loves it and so do we.
