Our Hike

After sitting and visiting, Bill took us on a "real" hike. We went up and down and around the mountains where their property is. At each corner, he would stop and show us remarkable views and special places he visits each time he goes up there. Many of those places seemed "sacred" in his own words. I think we were gone for 1-1/2 hours on this hike and it felt good to be in tune with nature. What a great experience this was for both of us!

At age 68, Kay was keeping right up with us. He was prepared with his walking stick as you can see. We came across some twisted wood, and as Kay would do, made a joke about the wood's tentacles getting around him. He kept saying "Help Me, Help Me". We laughed at so many stupid things and had such a great time!

The Scenery was beautiful and we all worked up quite a sweat!
