When Kay and I went on this trip, it brought thoughts to me about this good earth and those people who are on it. It brought me back to this beautiful earth and how awesome my life has been. Also, it brought me to realize how short life is for us. I learned again, how to appreciate my life and all it includes, good and bad. I believe he gives us situations to test us, only to see how well we take care of things, hoping it will be His way.
I love my family more than anything in this world. God has been good to me and I have truly been blessed. Rascal Flats sings a song, "The Broken Road", that fits me to a "T" about finding my husband, Kay. My kids ARE THE BEST. They chose such awesome spouses and my grandkids are so smart and have such loving spirits. I have such great siblings, Geri, Larry, Christine, and Cyndee and they all bring joy and comfort to me when I need it. In this busy world we live in, we get sidetracked with things we must to do to survive. It's "getting away" like this that reminds me of how beautiful people can be as well as how beautiful this earth is. "Let your light so shine......". I am grateful to all my family at this time and the world God gave me and I am truly thankful for it. I LOVE YOU FAMILY!

This is a sweet post and something I too have been thinking about. LIfe is too short for enemies and bad feelings. I wish everyone else felt this way. What a great pic of the hummingbird, BTW. :)
