Papa was having even more fun than the girls when we were blowing bubbles!

Papa would blow a lot of bubbles and then Phoenix would catch them and blow more!

We blew bubbles until everyone was tired and Papa and Grandma were getting the feeling they would pass out.......LOL I think we did this for 2 hours.....

She is mesmerized by the bubbles and smiles each time she does it.
When the kids come over for the day, we always have so much fun. Ave was tired in the morning because they got up very early. So, around 10:00 she went down for a nap. During that time, Phoenix and I made chocolate chip cookies, a chocolate cake and cleaned out one of my cupboards. She loves so much to clean and wash dishes and bake, so she dawned the apron and we went on with our chores....or fun to her...LOL. She begs me to wash the dishes so I let her and took the above video without her knowing until she realized I was working with the camera. She is so sweet and helps me so much. I told her that when Ave got up, we would go outside and blow bubbles.........but before we could get to it, Papa was already blowing them outside on the carport without either of the girls out there.....it was so dang funny to see him doing it alone. BUBBLES! They are so much fun for all ages!!!!
Phoenix caught a spider and we put it in a cup. We put the lid on it and she named it "Mia". She held on to it all afternoon. She wanted to take it home, show her Daddy and then let it go, so it could go home to it's mom. After holding onto it for the whole afternoon, she ended up forgetting it when Sarah came to pick up the girls and go home. Oh well, it was fun for her anyways. She didn't remember she left it until they got to the Lehi exit and then she was upset. However, luckily, I sent home a new bottle of bubbles with her and Sarah reminded her of that. She wasn't as upset then......BUBBLES make our lives happy and can make such a difference when you are sad and blue. We love to blow bubbles! Thank you Phoenix and Ave, for such a fun day with Papa and Grandma! We love you bunches!

What cute girls!
She is so precious!! You are so lucky to be able to spend so much time with them! I know they love it too! :) You come up with some fun things to do with them!
Looks like you had a fun time. I started something with the boys where a few times in the summer we'll take plastic grocery store sacks and walk around the neighborhood and pick up trash. The boys love it and it gives me an opportunity to talk to them about litering. What are we going to do with them in the winter when the weather is bad? lol. I guess we can build snowmen outside.
Please don't give them any more bubble stuff to bring home. :)
