THIS IS SHANA BAKER DOING THE DISHES AFTER MAKING A MESS.......lol

THIS IS AUNTIE CHRISTINE AND PHOENIX, WITH SARAH BAKER IN THE BACKGROUND, HAPPY THAT THE ROLLS TURNED OUT AND TASTED SO YUMMY!
On Wednesday, I had Shana (my niece) and Sarah (my daughter) come over and see how easy it is to make Cinnamon Rolls. It all started around 8:30. The two girls dawned their aprons and I set them to work on the ingredients for the rolls. They were champs and made the rolls like they were professionals who owned their own bakery. After kneading the dough, we left it in the bowls for the "rising" time. We were able to sit down and visit with eachother for over an hour and laughed and talked about different things. I have learned how to crochet, and Sarah is the guru of crocheting and so we talked a bit about learning how to do it and making gifts for those people we love.
Then, when the dough had risen, (not as much as I thought it would raise), each of them rolled out their dough, and set to throwing on the cinnamon and sugar. After they rolled it up, they proceeded to cut the separate rolls and put them in the pan to raise for another 1/2 hour.
The doorbell rang as we readied the rolls for raising one last time. Yes, Christine came! We were able to get a little visiting in, while we all ate macaroni and shrimp salad. Here we were eating salad at 10:30 in the morning; and we called it "brunch". We baked the rolls and they turned out beautifully. We all sat and partook of our "master baking" skill and everyone went their ways, picking kids up from school, dropping them off, and getting to a golf tee time.
It was a fun 1/2 day, and we all said we needed to do this again! It was fun getting together, something we haven't done in such a long time! YAY AND NUMMY NUM!
