As most of you may very well know, we have been speculating taking Elva, Kay's Mother, down to Panguitch, to be with her 98 year old sister, Melda. Melda is in a rest home in the rear of the Garfield County IHC Hospital. It is bright and cheery and has a much better "treatment plan" for the elderly. Well, we finally got a call and they have an opening. Kay and his brother and sister are taking her to her new home tomorrow, yes, Halloween day. She wasn't so excited at first and accused Kay of wanting to get rid of her. (seriously, she did) but, now we have mentioned it to her every visit, and the nurses' aides have done the same. We are glad to report she is finally excited and realizes it may be fun living with her sister once again. We feel it will be motivational for Elva, since in the past three months, she has become totally disabled, not even being able to feed herself. Her 98 year old sister still walks around with a walker and is active, considering her age. Elva is 89, 90 in January. We wish her luck on her new venture to her new home after living in Springville for over 60 years. We pray you will have a much better quality of life from now on. We love you Elva!

I HOPE EVERYTHING GOES GOOD WITH HER DOWN THERE. I THINK SHE WILL BE A LOT HAPPIER. WE'LL BE THINKING OF HER. cyn
I hope this will be better for her. It's so hard to see elderly people confused and not understanding what's going on. We've sure had some nice times with Elva. God bless her!!
I love this little lady! It has been a joy seeing her at Art City but I am so hopeful that being with her sister will improve her quality of life. Keep me posted!
Love you!
