Sweet Land of Liberty......
I am so proud to be an American. True, there are times when you get frustrated with choices which are made concerning our country's economy, security, and other important issues. However, I look at news clips and see other countries with their turmoil, injustices going on and the leader's lack of concern for their own people. Some live in shacks, with their floors of dirt; some cannot enjoy the freedom of worshipping their own God or practicing the religion of their choice. I marvel at what we all take for granted; Each day as I wake, I wonder what the day will bring and after some time, I realize that anything that could happen in my day could not be bad, considering what other people in these other countries have going on from morning until evening. I am so grateful I can express my opinions about things and not be in a lineup and shot for how I believe. I am grateful that I have the material things I have, even though my life would go on without them, as long as I have my family. I am appreciative of the fact we can register and vote for our leaders. Failing to do so only shows you don't care, even if some may think one vote doesn't matter. It also does not give you the right to complain about whomever ends up as our President. Even if our own candidate doesn't win, we should stand by our new president and pray he does well for our country and get involved in those things we feel are sacred to our beliefs. I have respect for any person who puts themselves out there to possibly take such stressful, dangerous, and "out front" positions to try and guide our country for the future. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH CANDIDATES AND MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!

AMen!
We are blessed to live in this free country. Lets just pray it always stays that way. And yes, may the best man win whoever that may be. We certainly need someone who can pull us out of this mess!!
Thought I was clear about not posting that picture of me right after the colonsoscopy, let alone taking it.
Chill son.....you take life much too seriously....
