THE GUY I'LL SPEND NEW YEAR'S WITH.....AND THE REST OF MY YEARS, IN FACT!

Left to Right:
Picture #1 - Kay and me on Father's Day and my birthday - June 15, 2008
Picture !2 - Kay and me in the back of his pick up truck watching the 4th of July fireworks.
Picture #3 - Kay swinging with Elliott (our 13 year old black Pomeranian) at the park with Phoenix and Ave. Elliott loves to swing, and he also loves to ride with Kay on his motorcycle....weird?
Picture #4 - Kay and me at my Family Christmas Party, December 13, 2008. Kay never wears a cowboy hat, but wore it this night as a joke to my cousin, who always is asking him where his cowboy hat is.....
Just wanted to put my honey in the blog. He rarely gets his pic in here and doesn't do the computer thing, so, once in awhile I'll put him in and let him read what I have to say about him.....(sometimes, lol) We don't have any big plans for New Year's Eve. We rarely go out because even going to dinner is practically risking your life! The roads are bad, and people are sometimes bad, driving after they've had a few. They seem to start earlier and earlier, drinking and then can't be responsible enough to get someone who's sober take them where they wanna go. Anyways, we value our life and will stay at home and have our own little celebration. My new resolutions are:
1. Start smoking outside the house (this will make it easier to quit, which I plan to do in 2009.) It's a lot more effort to go outside to smoke, especially in the wintertime when it's so cold outside and snowy.
2. Lose 8+ pounds that I found over the holidays. My goal for 2009 is losing 20 lbs.
3. To learn how to do quilting. My neighbor is going to teach me beginning in January and we will get together a couple times a month to work together on a quilt. I have a sewing machine and will continue my sewing at my own house.....I would love to be able to make my kids a quilt for Christmas next year. I truly have to think ahead on this one.....
4. Stay in touch with friends near and far, more often and consistently.
5. Get back going to church...... I've lived with the church in my heart for 24 years now, and need to be active in going into the church......

That's enough of that.... Make too many and you fail. I believe I can accomplish the above without tiring my will.
I have no idea what Kay's resolutions are for 2009. He never makes New Year's resolutions....but, I love him anyway; he's such a great guy...... HAPPY 2009, HONEY!!!!!
