AS MOTHER'S DAY APPROACHES, I HAVE A FEW MOTHERS I ADMIRE AND WOULD LOVE TO SAY SOME WORDS ABOUT.....HERE ARE MY FAVORITES....

When my mother died, Geri, my sister, sorta took over as "MOM" to everyone. She has been known to tell you how to do things, just as she would tell her own kids. It's all the love in her to help you out that pours out like a waterfall. She is loving, kind and helpful to everyone and loves her kids and grandkids so very much.

One of the best mom's I have ever seen is Jurgita. Not only is she compassionate, caring and a loving mom, but she has so much respect for others and their needs. She is such a great teacher as well, and many could learn from her humbleness. She gets so embarassed when you compliment her and just smiles that beautiful smile. She has already taught Gabrielle, 3, how to speak English as well as Jurgita's native language, Lithuanian. I admire her so much and want her to know how much I love her thoughtfulness while I'm there at their home for a visit.
Cyndee, my sister, with her willingness to help anyone, and her devotion and love for her daughter Becka. She can get pretty crazy at times and that's why I love spending time with her.....she always laughs at the stupid things I say and do, when others would probably just look at me funny and make a remark about how dumb I am..... Thanks for always helping out Cyn, and for walking with me and keeping me "on track".

Jakee, my "adopted" daughter, again is one of the best moms around. She lives for her daughter and you can always tell by Farah's happy face that her mom is around. She has that look on her face when her grandma is around as well, and Si'u also did such a great job of raising her daughter to be such a great mom, by example.
Then, there's Sarah.....who has so much love in her that she's about to burst. She is so caring, sympathetic to other's needs, always wanting to make everyone happy and her smile is to kill for. She is beautiful and as a mother, get's an A on my report card for her. I love being around her and understand why Joe and the girls love her so much. She is so uplifting and always thinks on the positive side.....

Joanne is an exceptional mom and is the most organized mom I have ever seen. If we go on an outing, she is ready with treats and water for everyone. She must pack up the bags for these outings days before getting her beautiful three boys ready to go. She juggles schedules and still has time to shop! Her mom, Julie, has raised a very great mom and that's only because she has been such a great example for her daughter to follow. What a blessing that we all had such great moms to show us how to do it! Julie, Kudos to you for raising such a great daughter and mother to our grandsons!
At this time, when Mom's are recognized, I would just like to say how special all these women are to me. I have learned so much from each and every one of them. None of us are perfect, but we each have so much to share and even learn from the other. I am proud to be in this family and want each of my children to know how blessed I am to have been chosen to be their mother.
I'M SURE EVERYONE THINKS THEIR OWN MOTHER WAS THE BEST MOM, but I can tell you right now, my mom WAS the best. She was so much fun to be around and always made you feel special. She had a way about her that made you want to spend time with her. She loved her grandchildren so very much and wanted them around as much as possible. She really knew how to liven up a room and when it was your birthday, she always made you your favorite cake, one that tasted better than any bakery could make. She was a special woman in my life and I will never forget all the things she taught me about motherhood and how great a mother she was. I LOVE YOU MOM.
MY GRANDMOTHER: She was the kindest woman I believe I have ever met. She never talked about others in an unkind way, was always there to put a smile on your face, and you loved listening to her talk with her English Accent. She taught my mom well about being a mother, and I loved her very much. I miss her too.

Christine, my sister, is another great mom. Her whole life revolves around her kids and grandkids. She is not happy when they aren't around. She is always there for them and they love coming to spend time with her, kids and grandkids both. She makes occasions special and loves her children very much.

Teri, is Kay's daughter and a proud mom of a daughter and son. Her undying love for her children exemplifies how mother's should be. You can always find her at her kid's activities and is constantly helping them to be successful in any way she can.......

What a nice tribute and thanks for the kind words. I love you and think you're also wonderful mom and your children are blessed to have you. This holiday still to this day is so hard for me. Crazy huh? I get so emotional. We were robbed at such a young age and so were our children. Mom would love them all!!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I just have to say that it is a Blessing and honor to have been given the opportunity to be Mother to my 3 boys. God has entrusted me with these precious angels (though at times little devils) and I will do everything in my power to be the best Mother I can be to them. And as for the organized thing - thank you again - but it's really the only way! When life gives you lemons, it helps to have the sugar, water & pitcher ready to make the lemonade! Oh, a spoon doesn't hurt either!
Love ya!
Very nice mom! Well done. I think the moms on your list covers almost all facets of "motherhood" itself! With the expception of one...Y O U! You've been so awesome! That's all for now...
That was really nice Kayleen. You're a great sister and a great Mother! I love you very much. Thank you for everything you do for me. Happy Mothers Day!
