Kay and I took another adventure to get away from the "rat race". We were invited up to LaRae and Bill's property in Duchesne, near Bandana Ranch, where Larry's property used to be. We set out at 8:00 in the morning and went based on their directions. We did go a little to far once we got out into the wilderness, but LaRae luckily loaned us her cell phone and we called them. We found that in the certain area we were in, there was no service. After driving an extra 6 miles, we turned around and tried calling again. It was so funny, because as we rounded the bend, there was sweet LaRae and "Wilderness Bill" waiting for us right at the spot where we should have turned. They then led us to their property, which is quite far out and hard to find. We know how to get there now, easily, but the first time, they said, almost everyone get lost.
We spent the whole day, visiting, hiking, eating, visiting and visiting, we all finally decided to get on our way home. We did consider staying, but we didn't plan on it and didn't bring Elliott, and he was home waiting for us to let him out........Thanks to Bill and LaRae for such a great, emotional and fun-filled day! We left around 8:15 p.m. and got home at 9:30, way passed our bedtime, but we both kept saying how much fun we had!

Now you need to get your own cabin now that you're retired. I remember going to Larrys and having a hard time finding it too. Glad you had fun.
