Phoenix, singing "A Child's Prayer"

I love it when Phoenix sings this song. You will notice how her facial expressions tell the whole story. I also love the forehead and the lip movements while she is singing. Thought, if you haven't seen Joe's version on his blog, I would make one for my own blog. They are both adorable. She is so Joe, when she sings.

We were so excited to have Phoenix come and stay with us. She always has her ideas of what we should do. First, she suggested we roast marshmallows. Since we weren't up in the canyon, and didn't have a pit, Papa suggested we do it over the barbecue grill. I went in to get the marshmallows and only had the miniature marshmallows. That didn't stop Papa. He got the kabob skewers, loaded 5 on and began the ordeal. Well, that wasn't working so well for Phoenix, so Grandma and Phoenix loaded up in the car and went to get "real" marshmallows. When we got home, we roasted them over the barbecue grill and it was just like up in the canyon, only for a few minutes.....duh. Then, she said you guys be the monsters and chase me. Well, that worked for about 5 minutes and it got so dark, I got worried where she was running away from us to, cause I couldn't see her. The sun went down and we had to come in to the house. Tomorrow morning, we will do grandma's normal walk in the morning, do some shopping after that, and then we will go to the Fry Family Reunion up in the canyon. We are excited to see everyone and go for a picnic up there. Joe and Sarah will meet us at the Reunion and then our sweetie will go home with them.
