We have been overtaken by birds! Our hummingbird feeder is always occupied by at least 3-4. Last night Kay saw about 8 hanging around at dusk. Then, this morning, we found a whole family of quail walking across our lawn. The baby birds have grown to almost maturity, but they still hang out together. We enjoy watching the hummingbirds though, as they whisk back and forth, and protect what they each think is their own "property" on the bird feeder. It is so relaxing and even gives us a few chuckles now and again. We watch and comment on how these birds must be brothers and sisters, as they fight each time they get to the feeder.
